Rick McLeod has served as Executive Director of the SRSCRO since May 2008. He brings a wealth of business experience, technical training and knowledge of the local area to his position with over 25 years experience in business development, fundraising and project management across public and private sectors. McLeod was formerly president of Crescent Environmental Management Corporation in Aiken and served as Technical Advisor to the Savannah River Site Citizens Advisory Board.
He was also part of a comprehensive development department for a national non-profit conservation organization and has extensive experience with foundation and corporate donations, federal grants and appropriations, and conservation easements. McLeod received his B. S. degree in Agricultural Engineering and his Master’s in Environmental System Engineering from Clemson University.

Program Manager for Nuclear Workforce Initiative®
Mindy Mets is the program manager for the SRSCRO’s Nuclear Workforce Initiative®. In this capacity, Mindy is responsible for program development, implementation and budget. She is actively involved with connecting the region’s nuclear employers and educators to establish a unified approach toward addressing nuclear industry workforce issues. Projects of the Nuclear Workforce Initiative® are targeted to ensure that citizens of the area have the opportunity to establish local careers by developing the skills needed by the region’s nuclear industry.
Mindy has extensive knowledge of the region and the Savannah River Site where she served in a variety of capacities over the last 18 years including emergency services department response planning, program budget and workforce planning. Mindy has also served as the coordinator for the Savannah River Site Citizens Advisory Board, which provides advice and recommendations to the U.S. Department of Energy on environmental remediation, waste management and related issues. Mindy directed the Southeast Environmental Management Association, a non-profit business association, where she managed and implemented conference activities, including event promotion, sponsorships and meeting logistics. Prior to her work in the SRSCRO region, Mindy was part of a team that conducted research and testing for the U.S. Air Force. Mindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Auburn University.

Amy Merry is the SRSCRO Administrative and Business Manager. She is responsible for various duties necessary to manage the conduct of SRSCRO day-to-day business. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University in 1990, and has over 10 years experience in office administration and business management.
Kim Saxon is a part-time assistant coordinator for SRSCRO and is responsible for providing a diverse range of administrative and logistical support for the organization. She has over 22 years of experience working in management, human resources and executive administrative support in the retail, medical, industrial and conservation field. Kim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Aiken.
